Bedroom Makeover

One project that we are work­ing on is to redo our Mas­ter Bed­room. It was the first room we painted when we bought this house and I slaved away on my pre­cious stripes I painted for hours and hours. I remem­ber vividly using Wayno’s laser lev­eler to tape off each of my stripes and every so care­fully paint­ing the semi-gloss layer of paint to get just the per­fect effect. It turned out great, but it’s time for a change. We’ve been in our house for just over 5 years now and it’s time to change it up and have some­thing that we BOTH agree on. So, the project begins this week­end. We went and picked out our new Nau­tica Bed­ding tonight at Bed, Bath & Beyond. I think we’re going to do the walls a lighter shade of this blue color in the bed­ding. We begin prim­ing tomor­row and paint­ing over my pre­cious stripes. It’s going to be hard to see them go, but see­ing the new bed­ding makes me excited about the change.
