Scrap Girls Convention 2008!

On October 8th, I boarded a plane headed to Salt Lake City to meet some of the greatest women on this earth. I’ve only talked to them virtually for the last 2 years, but you would think they were my neighbors. Scrap Girls held their first Digital Scrap Link Convention at the Officer’s Club on the University of Utah campus. It started on Thursday, Oct 9th and lasted until that Saturday evening. There were some awesome classes and speakers and I learned so much invaluable information. I just wish I had gotten more layouts done (although I did start about 3 or 4 different ones).

The people I met were just amazing. We had 4 people that flew from other countries too, now that’s dedication!

On Friday night, we went to this adorable little shopping area called Gardener Village. They were having their annual witch festival so the Halloween decorations were out in full force. Here are some photos that I took while we were there.

I still need to upload the rest of my convention photos. There were MANY taken by many of the attendees as I’m sure you can imagine, so I really didn’t take all that many other photos (hard to believe, I know).

Anyways, here are some of the gorgeous Gardner Village

They were giving witch driven carriage rides!

Quack, quack
