Worth the Wait

So my birthday was way back in mid-November. My darling husband had promised me that I was getting a great gift (he’s not one to disappoint). But weeks and weeks went by and every day I would go home after work in hopes that the UPS man had delivered the long awaited package for me. But every day, there would be nothing.

Finally, about a week or so ago, I came home and he and Ty had a present for me. I was SO happy and excited that my wait was finally over! So, I excitedly opened my present to find some lovely pink cinderalla furry things (I have yet to figure out what their purpose was!) My huband then proceeded to tell me that the were “The original ones that Cinderella wore on Broadway. They’re a collector’s item!”. I wish I could’ve seen my own face at that moment. I didn’t want to seem disappointed, so I put on a smile and said thank you. Meanwhile, I’m thinking, when the hell was Cinderella on Broadway?

Fortunately, a few minutes later, he came back out of the laundry room with another wrapped package. Thank GOD!!! So, I opened it up to find this stunning Swarovski crystal piece. This picture really doesn’t do it justice, but I haven’t had a chance to take my own photo of it yet. It’s simply stunning!
