Small Update on Us

We’re still around, and kick­ing.  Time is FLYING by, but I knew it would this time.  Last Sat­ur­day we hosted a wed­ding shower for my sis­ter in law who is get­ting mar­ried in early May.  Then, this Sat­ur­day we have our fam­ily party for Tyson’s 4th birth­day and then the fol­low­ing Sat­ur­day is his kid party!  Need­less to say, it’s been a crazy few weeks for us and won’t be slow­ing down any­time soon.

Bai­ley is doing well too.  We’re still strug­gling with get­ting her to sleep in places other than our bed, but we’re hang­ing in there.  She got her first lit­tle cold last week no thanks to her big brother, so that set us back a lit­tle bit.  But I’m happy to report that the last two nights, she at least slept in her carseat in her crib. I’ve heard from sev­eral other mom­mies that they all did this too for about the first 6 weeks or month or two and it worked.  So, we’ll just take it a week or so at a time and see if maybe we can tran­si­tion her into the actual crib in a cou­ple more weeks.

I had a chance to take some more shots of Bai­ley this week and am SO happy with how they turned out.  It’s so fun to pho­to­graph a sub­ject that isn’t run­ning around all over the place!  I’m really feel­ing more and more com­fort­able behind the cam­era each time I try to shoot and it’s just SO much fun!!  So, if you know any­one who has any babies or kids they’d like pho­tographed, I’d love to try my hand at it and build up my experience!
