I hope all the mommies out there had a great mother's day yesterday!
A very good friend of mine called me today with some very sad news and it made me really appreciate my two kiddos and reminded me how truly blessed I am to be their mommy. Please keep my friend in your prayers if you're the praying kind as she goes through this difficult time.
Yesterday was not an ordinary Mother's Day. On Saturday, Tony's sister, Amy and her fiance, Scott, got married!! We were all in the wedding and it was a wonderful event. So, we spent much of Sunday resting an recouperating from the big day. I'll post some of my photos from it later in the week. Tony and the kiddos let me take much of the afternoon and lock myself in our bedroom to relax and do whatever I wanted. Then we had my favorite Chicken Garlic pizza from Papa Murphy's. It was SO yummy!
