Your Mother & Mother’s Day 2009

I hope all the mom­mies out there had a great mother’s day yesterday!

A very good friend of mine called me today with some very sad news and it made me really appre­ci­ate my two kid­dos and reminded me how truly blessed I am to be their mommy.  Please keep my friend in your prayers if you’re the pray­ing kind as she goes through this dif­fi­cult time.

Yes­ter­day was not an ordi­nary Mother’s Day.  On Sat­ur­day, Tony’s sis­ter, Amy and her fiance, Scott, got mar­ried!!  We were all in the wed­ding and it was a won­der­ful event.  So, we spent much of Sun­day rest­ing an recouper­at­ing from the big day.  I’ll post some of my pho­tos from it later in the week.  Tony and the kid­dos let me take much of the after­noon and lock myself in our bed­room to relax and do what­ever I wanted.  Then we had my favorite Chicken Gar­lic pizza from Papa Murphy’s.  It was SO yummy!
