Pool Time

They decided to open our neigh­bor­hood pool a week early (woot!!) since the weather has been so nice, so of course the kids have been BEGGING to go swim­ming every day!  The water was a bit cold over the week­end and the pool was packed (just like it always is the first few weeks until the nov­elty wears off).  But on mon­day it was so incred­i­bly beau­ti­ful out.  Bai­ley was nap­ping and Tyson had just got­ten off the bus from school and was beg­ging to hit the water.  So, just he and I headed down for a lit­tle dip before din­ner time and the busy­ness picked up down there.

It’s so free­ing that he can now swim with­out me hav­ing to be in the water.  I enjoyed soak­ing up some sun and read­ing on my Kin­dle while he did can­non­balls and prac­ticed his back­stroke!  Can’t wait until we can spend lots of sum­mer days down at the pool!
