Well, here is a sneak peak our master bedroom makeover. You can see the before pics of the walls here. We got all of the painting done this weekend and got the new bedding and curtains up. Also bought some new lamps (one would think that when you buy the lamp base and the shade, that that’s all you would need, ha! think again!). We still need to get some pictures and other stuff back up on the walls, so it still looks quite a bit “unfinished”, so stay tuned for more final pics, but for now, we love it!

Oh yeah and here’s the dreaded ceiling fan!

My new flowers that I got for the vase, used to have purple hydrangeas in there. Ty picked out the squiggly thing. :-)

One project that we are working on is to redo our Master Bedroom. It was the first room we painted when we bought this house and I slaved away on my precious stripes I painted for hours and hours. I remember vividly using Wayno’s laser leveler to tape off each of my stripes and every so carefully painting the semi-gloss layer of paint to get just the perfect effect. It turned out great, but it’s time for a change. We’ve been in our house for just over 5 years now and it’s time to change it up and have something that we BOTH agree on. So, the project begins this weekend. We went and picked out our new Nautica Bedding tonight at Bed, Bath & Beyond. I think we’re going to do the walls a lighter shade of this blue color in the bedding. We begin priming tomorrow and painting over my precious stripes. It’s going to be hard to see them go, but seeing the new bedding makes me excited about the change.
